• Shay’s Shed Return & Refund Policy

  Thank you for shopping with Shay’s Shed! Every item is handmade and carefully prepared with love and attention to detail. Because our products are handmade, we have a few guidelines regarding returns and refunds.

  Returns

  We gladly accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery.

  To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition.

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging, when applicable.

  • You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order before sending anything back.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or the wrong item was sent.

  Please do not send an item back without contacting Shay’s Shed first.

  Damaged or Incorrect Items

  We carefully package every order, but accidents can happen during shipping.

  If your item arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging

  We will review the issue and, when appropriate, provide a replacement or refund.

  Non-Returnable Items

  Because many of our products are handmade and/or made specifically for the customer, the following items are generally non-returnable:

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Made-to-order items

  • Clearance or final-sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Items that have been used, damaged, altered, or worn after delivery

  Refunds

  Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

  Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or the item arrived damaged or defective.

  Please allow your payment provider additional processing time for the refund to appear in your account.

  Order Cancellations

  If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

  Orders that have already been shipped, started, or entered the production process may not be eligible for cancellation.

  For orders that cannot be fulfilled within the advertised timeframe, Shay’s Shed will provide the appropriate options, including cancellation and refund when required by applicable law.

  Exchanges

  We do not routinely offer exchanges because many of our products are handmade in limited quantities. If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective item, please contact us so we can determine the best solution.
